We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Advisory Specialist Portfolio Analytics.

HSBC Wealth & Premier Solutions is seeking an Advisory Specialist – Portfolio Analytics to join our dynamic Global Advisory team in London. In this pivotal role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our investment platform, unify the advisory client journey and develop robust tools for efficient portfolio construction. In this role you will:
• Develop and enhance the investment platform and portfolio analytics to provide exceptional advisory solutions to clients.
• Handle modelling methodology and data inputs for asset classes and securities ensuring alignment with product suitability, risk frameworks and governance requirements.
• Design and implement features and tools that streamline and improve the portfolio construction process for clients across global segments.
• Drive initiatives to institutionalise the advisory framework and provide expert guidance to stakeholders, supporting the growth and adoption of advisory services.
• Act as a subject matter expert, working closely with Transformation and IT teams to develop and launch new product features and resolve business-as-usual (BAU) issues related to portfolio analytics.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
• Must have prior experience in Wealth or Asset management. A strong understanding of asset allocation and portfolio construction, with hands-on experience in these areas is critical.
• A proven track record of being actively involved in building advisory propositions and platforms is critical.
• Quantitative & Analytical Skills - Quantitatively inclined with a keen eye for details, ensuring accuracy and robustness in portfolio analytics and modelling.
• Direct experience working with BlackRock’s Aladdin Wealth platform, including feature development, enhancement and troubleshooting would be highly advantageous.
• Ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, such as Relationship Managers, Investment Counsellors, Product Teams, Transformation and IT to drive projects and resolve issues.
This is a hybrid working role with the base location as London.
