We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Trade Operations Manager.
The Senior Trade Operations Manager will assist in the management of the operational integrity and technical competence of the department by being the primary point of contact for all internal stakeholders and external clients in respect of complex Trade transactions. Ensuring excellent service quality, and that all transactions are processed to tightly managed deadlines whilst minimising operational risk and maximising income.

In this role you will:
- Be responsible for the review and feedback to internal and external clients, on complex, and often high value Trade transactions.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the team to facilitate their enhanced learning and development.
- Drive on and offshore processing performance via appropriate workflow management oversight, supporting SLA attainment and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
- Continually reassess the operational risks inherent in the business and take responsibility for all complex queries / controls / reconciliations.
- Work closely with various stakeholders, including Legal, Compliance, Product Management and sales staff & relationship managers to manage the operational integrity and technical competence of the product.
- Work closely with GTS Sales/Relationship managers in the process of client acquisitions involving transactional facility review and takeover.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Sound knowledge of Trade / Payments / Complex FX Queries.
- Good knowledge of Operational Risk & Compliance policies and Global Operating procedures.
- Strong communication and influencing skills to manage clients and stakeholders in this complex environment.
- Able to independently make sound business decisions using experience, good judgement and business sense and make recommendations on issue outside of own authority.
- Strong technical and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
- Ability to develop good working relationships with customers both internally and externally.
