Regional Wealth Planner

Job description
We are looking for an experienced Regional Wealth Planner to join our Private Bank. You will partner closely with Relationship Managers across the Northern UK regions, delivering high-quality, needs-based financial planning advice—often face-to-face at clients’ homes or from our Private Bank offices in Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester (with occasional wider UK travel).
Key responsibilities
- Partner with Relationship Managers to deliver holistic, regulated financial planning advice to HNW clients.
- Conduct in-depth client reviews to identify objectives, constraints, and planning opportunities.
- Design and communicate tailored, needs-based solutions across the UK financial planning landscape.
- Produce clear, timely and compliant documentation of meetings, recommendations and follow-up actions.
- Collaborate with paraplanners and wider specialists to implement advice effectively.
- Maintain strong product/market awareness, contribute to planning strategy development, and keep CPD up to date.
Key requirements
- Chartered Financial Planner (Level 6+) essential; Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) achieved or working towards preferred.
- Strong experience advising High Net Worth Individuals within Private Banking/Wealth, with excellent UK product knowledge.
- FCA-approved (CF30) and able to operate to the highest standards of conduct, compliance and client suitability.
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK financial regulation and tax legislation, with confidence handling technical queries.
- Excellent interpersonal, report-writing and stakeholder management skills; calm under pressure and client-focused.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail; proficient in Microsoft Office (Voyant experience preferred) and comfortable with frequent regional travel and hybrid working expectations.
