We’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Brand Manager – Business Banking.
The UK Advertising and Marketing Communications team sits within the wider UK Customer function and is focused on building strong emotional connections between customers and our brands, helping us stand out in the market and deliver against brand and business goals through standout campaigns and distinctive customer experiences. You’ll lead the development of market-leading, insight-driven creative that showcases how we support small businesses, with the aim of growing market share and driving customer acquisition. You’ll bring hands-on experience in B2B creative marketing, a genuine passion for advertising and campaigns, a sharp understanding of emerging B2B trends and innovations, a commercial mindset, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities at pace.

In this role you’ll:
- Write clear, inspiring, results-driven briefs that turn customer insight and business needs into innovative, brand-aligned ideas; assess concepts and shape direction with Marketing Strategy
- Lead the creation of strong, idea-led concepts and steer them from initial thinking through to approved executions
- Translate big ideas into effective, channel-appropriate campaigns across paid, owned and earned channels, using the right mix of internal teams and agency partners
- Embed learnings from campaign/activity Post Implementation Reviews (PIRs) and Marketing Insight & Effectiveness into ongoing creative development to improve impact across all channels
- Manage agency output with a focus on accountability, quality and collaboration; provide actionable creative critique and performance feedback and deliver campaigns on time and within budget
- Protect brand integrity by ensuring work meets brand guidelines, creative principles, benchmarks and business objectives, and remains compliant with Global Standards and relevant Functional Instruction Manuals (FIMs)
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Extensive B2B creative development experience, ideally gained within a large, matrix organisation. Must have experience creating and delivering marketing/creative campaigns
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills. Must be able to build strong relationships with channel owners and key partners
- Strong project leadership and organisation. Ability to run multiple concurrent campaigns and resources in a fast-paced environment to ensure seamless integration is critical
- Data-led performance management, with strong reporting and interpretation skills and the ability to clearly explain results to teams and senior leadership
- Commercially astute, with experience managing significant budgets to deliver brand and business objectives
- Collaborative, adaptable problem-solver, with a proven track record of meeting targets, supporting others to succeed, and innovating in delivery; line management experience desirable, and financial services regulatory/compliance knowledge a plus
