The objective of this internship program is to provide the student with practical experience in supporting the bank’s Health and Safety function, including promotion, and administrative management of safety initiatives.

 

  • Assisting in H&S promotions such as preparing and publishing Health & Safety Bulletins, posters and awareness materials.
  • Supporting safety campaigns and events.
  • Assisting in administrative H&S tasks including record keeping, maintaining safety documentation.
  • Participating in safety inspections, risk assessment and incident reporting coordination.
 
Qualifications - External
 
  • Availability to work full time from Jan/Feb 2026 for a period of 3 to 6 months.
  • Field of student: Currently pursuing a Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health or related discipline.
  • Knowledge Base: Basic understanding of H&S principles, risk assessment and Malaysian HSE regulations (OSHA 1994, Fire Services Act 1988) or ISO 45001 Health and Safety Management Standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Able to prepare simple visuals or posters for safety promotions.
  • The legal right to work in Malaysia
