We are now inviting qualified individuals to join this team in the role of Associate, Global Corporates, LLC 

Principal Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of large local corporates to maximize revenue, returns as well as manage all aspects of risk within the portfolio
• Build strong client relationships with the aim to becoming the preferred financial partner and trusted advisor
• Grow revenue and returns of the portfolio by delivering banking solutions to meet objectives of the client as well as increasing share of wallet across all products
• Leverage on the bank’s network to deliver holistic banking solutions across all products
• Effective and pro-active risk management of the portfolio including but not limited to credit risk, financial crime risk as well as operational risk
• Understand and ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which the jobholder is involved
• Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators

Requirements: 

• Minimum of 5 years of corporate/commercial banking experience, with at least 2 years at executive level.
• Possess strong analytical skills.
• Proven ability to gain substantial business for the Group across a full range of products.
• Proven track record of building & developing long term relationships including at key decision maker level for all clients.
• Portfolio management skills.
• Strong knowledge of HSBC Group and products, and a strong network of contacts across all business areas.
• Proven record of proactively developing and originating client solutions.
• Strong understanding of risk management and risk mitigation.
