Fee Billing Global Custody UK is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and transparent billing processes of Global Custody business. The team manages the full billing lifecycle, including static data, calculation, invoice generation, reconciliation, revenue reporting, resolution of billing-related enquiries and revenue recovery. Working closely with Account Management, Finance and Client Onboarding, the department ensures that all fee structures are correctly implemented, complying with internal policies, contractual terms, and regulatory requirements.
The Opportunity:
- The Fee Billing department is structured into two teams: Static Maintenance and Billing.
- This role is the Manager overseeing the Billing team, responsible for ensuring complete and accurate billing, managing billing-related enquires, and supporting effective fee recovery efforts. Working closely with internal stakeholders, the role ensures that invoices are produced correctly and on time, issues are resolved promptly, and all billing activities comply with established controls and service standards.
What you’ll do:
- Oversight of Billing Controls: Own end-to-end billing validation processes; ensure timely and accurate billing through proactive exception management and continuous improvement of controls.
- Coordination with Static Data Team: Act as the single point of contact with the Static Data team to flag, correct and track systemic and recurring data issues impacting billing.
- Stakeholder and Exception Management: Lead the triage and resolution of complex billing queries raised by customers, internal stakeholders, or audit findings on a timely basis.
- Debtor Recovery: Lead the recoveries of outstanding receivables liaising with Account Management and coordinating debits according to client agreed schedules.
- Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and report on billing accuracy and SLA metrics, root causes of issues, and effectiveness of controls. Provide insights and recommendation for process enhancements.

- Strong delivery focus is essential. The role requires a proactive and articulate individual, comfortable with dealing with senior management and able to distil key messages and tailor output to the audience.
What additional skills will be good to have?
- Experience with Oracle billing platform.
