What you’ll do:
This role will have responsibility to deliver & improve operational conduct by ensuring employees have a strong awareness of conduct requirements. Help supervisors in MSS Operations understand the importance of their role (expectations) and the impact of good leadership practice on leading teams. The role holder will facilitate a blend of virtual and face to face training in priority locations. Case study development based on real operational incidents/issues.
- Lead, design and deliver conduct and regulatory and conduct training (globally) to meet the needs of the business and to proactively address potentials gaps / concerns (eg. Topics: Conduct, Business escalation, report, issue writing training for Global Career Band 3-5 employees). Actively review feedback to respond to the voice of the customer.
- Build close working relationships with Non Financial Risk and other key stakeholder partners to strengthen alignment and relevance.
- Analyse and proactively respond to shifting business requirements and outputs: such as GEMS and Helios reporting.
- Embed a culture of ‘speak up’ and ‘listen up’ as well as creating a heightened awareness of individual obligations. Improve the quality and timeliness of escalation to internal and external stakeholders where required.
- Govern the required training (across all Capability Development Team (CDT) deliverables), provide reporting and liaise with senior leaders on progress / escalations. Ensure learning governance eg. all courses globally are entered into the Learning Management System. Enrolments & attendances captured in system for Management Infomation (MI). Create, produce, and deliver meaningful MI and progress to Markets Securities Services (MSS) Operations governance committees.
- Project managing key strategic projects across People Enablement.(eg. Draw insights from people survey and build solutions aligned with the Markets Securities Services (MSS) Operations people strategy)
- Plan, negotiate and manage the Capability Development Team (CDT) learning budget and manage all vendor relationships / process payments
What you will need to succeed in the role :
- 5-10 yrs experienced learning and development practitioner with fluency of the full learning cycle.
- Proven track record in leading, designing and delivering training, for a global audience). Experience in building effective training delivery capability across curriculum and multiple sites.
- Strong leadership skills – supporting a global team (virtually and face to face).
- Strong influencing skills – ability to influence at all levels.
- Collaboration and teamwork – ability to deliver on a shared goal, inspiring others to contribute and be their best.
