We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Brokerage Products Manager based in Malaysia to play a leadership role in our self-directed brokerage business.
This role is responsible for the definition, design and execution of digital marketing campaigns, client engagement and servicing, dispute resolution and client experience, and sales force mobilization.
Principal responsibilities
- Be responsible for the achievement of broking sales and business targets, key objectives and key results such as net new account growth, overall revenue, average monthly trades, TAT and Net Promoter Score (NPS)
- Execute strategies for profitable development of business, enhancing brokerage products
- Design, implement and manage performance of digital market campaigns with new and existing clients, targeted at acquiring new customers and driving usage of HSBC WorldTrader
- Liaise with contact centres and branch staff to promote usage of HSBC WorldTrader
- Deliver commercial growth in line with HSBC FRP, focusing on growing market share of the total addressable market (TAM) of active self-directed traders
- Be familiar with the HSBC WorldTrader platform services and ensure clients can execute self-directed transactions
- Ensure regulated activities adhere to internal and external guidelines and policies
- Create customer centric growth strategies in line with HSBC's broader Capital Markets business and existing Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) propositions
- Liaise with Customer Lifecycle Management (CLCM) team and collaborate closely with Proposition team to service the portfolio of self-directed investing clients who trade a multitude of investment products
- Treat existing customers as a portfolio of relationships, collaborating with local and group Marketing, Data and Analytics, Strategy, Strategic Partnerships, Technology and Digital teams
- Liaise with Data and Analytics team and run experiments and A/B tests using advanced digital messaging and client lifecycle management capabilities
- Join relationship managers with HNW clients or frequent traders at events, appointments and discussions as a subject matter expert on HSBC WorldTrader platform
- Support first line of defense staff in the efficient and positive resolution of client complaints and disputes
- Proactively maintain and improve processes with digitalization or automation
Requirements
- Capital Markets Services Representative’s License (CMSRL) Holder
- Preferably min. 5 years’ experience commercializing new and innovative brokerage services at a fintech or specialist broker in Malaysia or abroad
- Experience in mid-senior role as a digital marketer, with a demonstrated track record of growing business via digital messaging, engagement and sales
- Established track record of delivery within large financial services organizations, especially those with a complex stakeholder group
- Experience trading professionally or personally will be well-regarded
- Experience in leadership at specialist brokerages, bank-brokers or fintechs is well-regarded
- Proven people management track record essential
