We are currently seeking ambitious individuals to join our International Wealth and Premier Banking (IWPB) team in the role of Assistant Manager Portfolio Management and Tools, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, analyze and report the portfolio status of Relationship Managers with suggestion of action to management for improvement.
- Initiate portfolio realignment and monitor the accuracy of tagging.
- Identify customers who have met the requirement to be retagged to Relationship Managers or Premier Financial Consultant (PFC).
- Monitor, analyze and report the frontline sales activity and communication system usage with suggestion of action to management for improvement.
- Involve in system enhancement to ensure project is successful, which includes but not limited to User Acceptance Test (UAT), System Health check, as well as communication.
- Monitor, analyze and report the leads uploaded via the Client Relationship Management (CRM) tool with suggestion of action to management for improvement.
- Proactively engage with stakeholders to Collate feedback and suggest solutions / next action item to improve the process / user experience.
- Proactively support others through direct and indirect actions beyond activities particular to this role.
- Demonstrate team spirit by working together with the wider team to deliver the IWPB objective.
- Work as part of an integrated management team to ensure standards are met and operating models are delivered.
- Ensure the policies and guidelines related to portfolio management and sales systems are updated and complying with any related internal / external policies and regulatory standards.
- Ensure that sales & operations are undertaken in accordance with HSBC Bank FIM, BIM and Internal Circulars.
- Manage operational risk, by using relevant MI to identify risk situations and take any appropriate action to minimise loss.
- Strict adherence to internal policies for safeguarding customer data, given access to highly confidential systems used to view and manage customer portfolios.
Requirements:
- A recognized tertiary Diploma / Degree qualification.
- Strong knowledge in financial industry, and client / portfolio management.
- Proficient in technical skills such as excel advance formula and macro.
- Proven ability to multi-task and maintain highest standard of excellence in service provided to stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze data and provide suggestions to improve the quality.
- A broad knowledge of sales process, financial planning and defining customer needs.
- Clear view on how to work with Compliance, Credit & Risk and Internal Control to ensure a balanced risk operating environment.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Excellent communication & relationship skills.
- Able to multitask and deliver in high pace environment
- Able to make decisions in accordance with bank policy and guidelines.
- A clear understanding of the Sales Process & Sales Activity Funnel
