We have a unique opportunity for you to join our IT Business Analyst team in Wholesale IT Payments area. We are looking for a highly effective, client and technology focused Senior Business Analyst with broad payments knowledge and experience in managing delivery as well as in requirements gathering and testing.
The role holder will be expected to analyse and refine business requirements prior to translating those requirements into cost effective IT Systems solutions, in line with Global Architecture standards.
What you’ll do
- Work closely with business SME’s to elicit and define business requirements
- Analyse and define appropriate IT solutions, working closely with OPS Payment , HUB IT Payments, HUB Core Banking, other workstreams, product owners and architects.
- Translate of business and system requirements into solution designs and functional requirements
- Document the requirements under BRD documents or Jira user stories
- Perform root cause analysis of failure elements & recommend improvements
- Negotiate and influence project scope, including the assessment of proposed change
What you need to have to succeed in this role
- Hands on working experience in a relevant role, i.e. IT Business Analyst or Business Consultant We don’t measure experience in years, but you must show that you really know what you are doing.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 20022, financial messaging standards and payment-processing lifecycles, with experience across key payment types and schemes, ideally SEPA Credit Transfer, SEPA Direct Debit and Instant Payments
- Ability to work with different business users such as product owners, project managers, developers, architects
- Proficiency in English. We are a diverse company. Ability to communicate on a business level with everyone is a must
