We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Talent Campaign Creative.

The Talent Campaign Creative plays a pivotal role in shaping HSBC’s employer brand creative vision across priority growth markets, with Hong Kong as the strategic hub.

Working as a senior member of the in-house employer brand creative team, this role is responsible for setting and elevating the visual and conceptual direction of employer brand storytelling — ensuring ideas are clear, distinctive, culturally relevant, and designed to scale globally.

As a creative partner to Senior Copywriters, Designers, and Enterprise Talent stakeholders, the Senior Creative leads creative thinking from concept through execution, balancing strong visual craft with digital-first, system-led design approaches. This role reports to the Talent Creative Lead.

In this role you will:

  • Lead the visual and creative direction of employer brand campaigns, ensuring ideas are conceptually strong, insight-led, and clearly communicated; Partner closely with Senior Copywriters to co-create campaign ideas, narratives, and creative platforms from early concept stages
  • Translate employer brand strategy and EVP into distinctive creative expressions that resonate across markets and talent segments; Set and maintain a high bar for visual communication, craft, and storytelling across all employer brand output
  • Guide the development of scalable visual systems, campaign frameworks, and design languages that support global consistency with local flexibility; Ensure all creative output aligns with HSBC Group Brand standards while thoughtfully flexing for cultural nuance
  • Oversee the development of integrated, digital-first employer brand campaigns — from hero creative through to modular, always-on content; Champion system-led thinking that enables personalisation, localisation, and efficient activation across markets
  • Champion and explore AI-assisted creative workflows across copy, design, and content production to help scale employer brand storytelling, accelerate creative exploration, and enable localisation — while maintaining strong creative judgement, craft, and governance
  • Shape creative work that performs effectively across digital ecosystems, including careers sites, social, paid media, CRM, events, and internal channels; Collaborate closely with UX, content strategy, and digital partners to ensure clarity, coherence, and strong narrative flow across end-to-end talent journeys
  • Act as a senior creative partner to Enterprise Talent, Group Brand, local market teams, and agencies; Provide clear creative direction, feedback, and guidance to Designers and Copywriters, elevating standards across the team
  • Support Talent Creative Lead in maintaining strong creative governance, ensuring quality, compliance, and brand consistency

To be successful you will need:

  • Proven experience as an Art Director or Senior Creative within employer branding, brand, or integrated marketing environments; Exceptional visual communication and conceptual storytelling skills, with a strong portfolio demonstrating campaign-led, digital-first creative systems
  • Strong experience working within global brand frameworks and regulated environments; Demonstrated ability to lead ideas from concept through execution in collaboration with copy, design, and strategy partners
  • Advanced understanding of digital design ecosystems and how creative ideas scale across platforms and markets; Fluency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Highly conceptual thinker who uses insight, human understanding, and narrative to inform creative direction; Able to balance bold creative ambition with clarity, craft, and governance
  • Confident partnering with senior stakeholders, agencies, and cross-functional teams; Strong communicator able to articulate creative rationale, direction, and tradeoffs clearly
  • Experience supporting Middle East or regional APAC markets; Experience with animation, motion design, or directing film and content production
  • Mandarin or Cantonese language capability
