Talent Campaign Content Creative
Kowloon City, Kowloon, HK
GCB 5
We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Talent Campaign Content Creative.
The Senior Content creative plays a critical role in shaping HSBC’s employer brand visual identity and storytelling across priority growth markets, with a key focus on Hong Kong and China and the Middle East including Dubai.
Working as part of the in-house employer brand creative team, this role is responsible for delivering strong visual communication and storytelling through culturally resonant, digital-first design that brings HSBC’s employer value proposition to life — internally and externally.
As a core member of the in-house creative team, this role reports to the Talent Creative Lead and partners closely with Senior Copywriters, Enterprise Talent stakeholders, Group Brand, and local market teams to deliver high-impact employer brand campaigns that attract, engage, and retain priority talent segments at scale.
In this role you will:
- Develop and deliver best-in-class employer brand design that communicates ideas clearly and emotionally across campaigns, platforms, and markets; Translate employer brand strategy, insight, and EVP into compelling visual stories, not just individual assets
- Ensure all creative output aligns with HSBC Group Brand standards while flexing design execution for local cultural nuance.; Apply strong judgement across typography, layout, imagery, and hierarchy to guide attention, meaning, and narrative
- Design scalable campaign systems and frameworks, not just one-off assets, enabling markets to activate content efficiently and consistently; Balance hero creative thinking with modular, always-on content designed for scale and performance
- Partner closely with Copywriters to co-create concepts and narratives, shaping ideas together from early stages through to execution; Work closely with local market teams in Hong Kong and China and the Middle East including Dubai to ensure the creative outputs are culturally sensitive, locally resonant, and fit-for-purpose
- Contribute to the creation of design toolkits, templates, and modular systems that enable markets to activate employer brand campaigns efficiently and consistently; Design primarily for digital environments, with a strong understanding of how visual communication performs across screen-based channels
- Create design that works seamlessly across careers sites, social, paid media, CRM, events, and internal platforms; Collaborate closely with UX and content partners to ensure visual clarity, accessibility, and coherent end-to-end journeys — without owning detailed UX design
- Act as a senior creative partner to Enterprise Talent, Group Brand, and agency teams; Provide constructive design feedback and creative direction, helping raise visual standards across the employer brand ecosystem
- Support the Talent Creative Lead in maintaining strong creative governance, ensuring quality, compliance, and brand consistency
To be successful you will need:
- Strong visual communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate strategy, insight, and employer value propositions into clear, engaging design; Proven experience as a digital, visual, or employer brand designer within agencies or organisations
- Strong portfolio demonstrating campaign-led, digital-first design systems, not just isolated assets; Confidence designing within global brand frameworks while flexing creatively for local cultural nuance
- Advanced skills in the Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, with strong judgement around when and how to use each; Experience collaborating closely with Copywriters, strategists, and cross-functional teams to shape ideas, not just execute briefs
- Highly creative thinker with strong conceptual ability, able to translate insight and strategy into compelling visual ideas; Comfortable balancing creativity with governance and delivery in a regulated environment
- Confident working with senior stakeholders, copywriters, agencies, and cross-functional teams; Able to clearly articulate design rationale and take feedback constructively
- Thinks conceptually and collaboratively, using insight, human understanding, and narrative to inform visual decisions; Experience supporting Middle East or regional APAC markets
- Experience with animation, motion design, or directing film and content production.; Experience designing for UX or journey-led experiences
