We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as a Senior Vice President, Sales – Global Trade Solutions.
Principal Responsibilities
- Manage a client portfolio to deliver growth on existing relationships while establishing new ones
- Originate, structure and execute suitable trade solutions to fulfill client needs
- Develop and implement account plans for priority clients, including wallet sizing, opportunity mapping, and stakeholder engagement
- Maintain a strong cadence of client engagement and trusted-adviser relationships with clients
- Build and maintain deep expertise in assigned sector(s), including working capital cycles, seasonality, supply chain structures, and key trade corridors.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure solutions are deliverable, compliant, and operationally sound.
- Monitor market trends and translate insights into client opportunities.
- Work with credit and risk to develop appropriate structures, mitigants, and documentation, incorporating sector-specific risk considerations
- Support internal initiatives to improve sales effectiveness, client experience, and process efficiency.
Qualifications - External
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Finance, Business or related discipline.
- Extensive knowledge of global trade solutions, services, products and techniques.
- Good understanding of the market trends, competitive environment and regulatory environment.
- Detailed knowledge on Credit and Risk including techniques to mitigate risk.
- Proven ability in identifying and meeting customer needs through matching a broad range of products and services.
- Ability to interact with business customers at all levels.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and the ability to deliver compelling presentations in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
