Senior Vice President, Digital Lending and Channel - HK Business

Principal responsibilities
In this role you will
Reporting to Head of Sales Business Banking, your role and responsibilities will include the followings:
- Formulate and Lead Digital Lending and Channel Management Strategy in Business Banking portfolio managed (BBPM) clients for GTS: Develop a robust commercialization plan by conducting thorough research on market trends, competitive landscapes, market sizing, and customer needs in digital lending. Define product and segment focus and prepare compelling strategic papers and communications for the Senior Leadership Team and relevant support functions
- Gather and Relay Market and Customer Feedback: Act as the primary conduit for collecting and synthesizing market insights and customer feedback on digital lending products. Effectively communicate actionable insights to stakeholders, including product teams, to drive continuous improvement and alignment with customer expectations
- Build and Present Business Cases: Construct persuasive business cases to support the commercialization of digital lending initiatives, outlining market opportunities, revenue potential, and strategic alignment. Present recommendations to senior stakeholders to secure buy-in and resources
- Develop Effective Promotional Plans: Design and execute targeted marketing and promotional strategies to enhance the adoption and visibility of digital lending products. Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, and Frontline teams to create campaigns that resonate with target segments and drive engagement
- Collaborate with Stakeholders for Commercial Success: Partner with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Communications, and Frontline) and external third-party platforms or ecosystems to create integrated, customer-centric experiences that maximize the impact of digital lending offerings
- Enhance HSBC’s Market Presence: Strengthen HSBC’s brand in the industry by planning and executing high-visibility events, such as internal and external roadshows, active participation in industry associations and other relevant events
Requirements
To be successful you will need
- Experienced in project management, digital strategy and transformation
- Understanding of Commercial Banking business, customer, products and credit workflow
- Good understanding on the latest market trend and ecosystems in digital lending
- Hands-on experience in development of business cases and other project documentations
- Stakeholders’ management skills and ability to navigate across complex organization
- Creative thinking to generate ideas balancing business impact, cost and time-to-delivery
- Analytical capability to evaluate and identify optimal options
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese, Cantonese (Optional)
