We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Software Engineer.

In this role you will:

  • Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand end-to-end processes, pain points, and technical requirements, translating them into deliverable solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using modern frameworks and technologies, with a strong focus on production readiness.
  • Build and integrate end-to-end solutions across front-end and back-end components, ensuring seamless integration, performance, and reliability.
  • Deliver “forward deployed” outcomes by working hands-on with users and delivery teams to implement solutions in real environments, iterating quickly based on feedback.
  • Contribute to projects involving Generative AI and data virtualisation to enable innovative business solutions and improved customer/colleague experience.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack, providing support to end-users as needed and driving root-cause fixes.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance operational efficiency, and proposing pragmatic, high-impact enhancements
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across locations

To be successful you will need:

  • 3 - 5 + years of experience as software engineer delivering medium to large‑scale initiatives, ideally in banking or a comparable dynamic environment.
  • Experience working on end-to-end development of a project lifecycle using both front and back-end frameworks.
  • Familiar with microservice architectures and possess in-depth knowledge of container-based services like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose issues across distributed components and deliver robust fixes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and tools, including emerging areas such as Generative AI
  • Customer-centric mindset with a strong quality bar, focused on delivering reliable, usable solutions in a fast-paced environment.
