We are seeking a high-calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Propositions Manager.

 

In this role you will:

  • Take full ownership in all customer proposition initiatives including but not limited to developing tailored value propositions, segment strategies, and digital experiences to boost customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value. Key roles include designing customer journeys, analyzing insights, and creating content to drive engagement
  • Lead the creation of original, high-value content including articles, videos and research reports and take full ownership of content strategies to provide insights and solutions that enhance market positioning across customer need-based topics. Partner with external agencies to deliver digital and social media campaigns on MCV platforms, ensuring alignment with the brand promise and guidelines
  • Lead the development of marketing collaterals to strengthen brand awareness, share of voice and brand consideration across Hong Kong and GBA markets
  • Work closely with senior management to develop strategies for market growth, customer engagement, and business model optimization
  • Ensure timely delivery of core deliverables with high accuracy and quality, meeting service standards and supporting business strategy; ensure all artefacts comply with established marketing processes and guidelines
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across a complex, matrixed organisation; advise on brand application, safeguard brand integrity and educate stakeholders on brand standards
  • Lead ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned with alignment of HSBC Life and Group Insurance’s direction

 

To be successful you will need:

  • Solid experience in insurance product marketing or bank marketing, with a focus on customer proposition within financial services and/or matrixed organisations
  • Strong knowledge of the China and Hong Kong markets, with a deep understanding of consumer behaviour and competitive dynamics in the GBA; proven ability to market to both local and GBA customers
  • Hands-on experience with key MCV digital and social platforms (e.g., Xiaohongshu, WeChat, Weibo, Baidu) and digital content creation; proven ability to market to both local and GBA customers
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing customer proposition strategies and initiatives that drive customer acquisition and revenue growth
  • Detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and make sound prioritisation decisions with strong collaboration, communication, interpersonal and project management skills; effective stakeholder and vendor management capability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and English,  well as Mandarin, Cantonese and English
