Real Estate Services (RES) is part of the Global Procurement & RES Infrastructure team within the Global Chief Operating Office (GCOO) at HSBC. The function is responsible for shaping and delivering the Bank’s real estate strategy globally, working in close partnership with businesses, senior leadership and external strategic partners.
This role sits within the central global Performance & Engagement RES structure, and will act as the glue across RES, turning the global strategy into clear, practical priorities for the region. In this role you will help ensure we deliver consistently, with strong governance and business management, while also improving performance insights and driving high employee engagement.
You’ll also play a key part in shaping the culture, building effective partnerships across the business, and developing a strong regional business management capability. On top of that, you’ll lead on employee engagement activities, including workforce planning, talent and succession planning, communications, and driving continuous improvement across the region.
The role will report to the global Head of RES Performance & Engagement.
In this role, you will:
- Translate RES strategy into clear priorities aligned to the Bank and GCOO strategic objectives, supporting consistent execution across the function.
- Develop and maintain the RES Scorecard, mapping the delivery of key RES outcomes to global GCOO strategic priorities.
- Support the design and delivery of the RES Blueprint, aligned to GCOO future-state workforce strategy.
- Define and embed a RES Business Partnering Framework, ensuring clear accountability, cadence, and alignment across the function.
- Support the coordination and production of Business Partnering global materials.
- Define and deliver the RES People Agenda, informed by Snapshot insights and Exchange feedback.
- Identify future capability needs across RES, shaping a Learning & Development plan aligned to strategy.
- Support RES talent mapping and succession planning.
- Drive effective and consistent communication across RES, ensuring clarity of strategic priorities, celebrating success, and enhancing the RES brand
- Embed standards of excellence through leading and managing team members in a matrix environment, ensuring accountability and reinforcing a culture of high performance.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Strategic mindset: Strong understanding of the purpose, strategy, and value of Real Estate Services within the wider business context

This role will be based in Hong Kong on a hybrid basis.
