We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Senior Officer.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will

  • Prepare and ensure perfection of documentations for all credit requests, including facility letters, demand letters, security documentation, charge and releases, etc
  • Gatekeep all conditions precedent prior to effecting credit requests in systems
  • Periodic review of due diligence documents, collateral valuations, etc. in credit lifecycle management
  • Filing and safekeeping of duly executed documentation in security files / credit files
  • Handle enquires from Marketing’s colleagues and provide sound solutions
  • Contribute and participate in workflow enhancement projects and user testing, and other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by supervisor/Team Head
  • Able to identify and escalate any problem areas to supervisor/Team Head for immediate attention
  • Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators
Qualifications

To be successful you will need

  • Degree holder or above
  • Relevant experience in credit documentation and administration, preferably from private banking
  • Knowledge of loan processing, procedures and relevant legal requirements
  • Proficient in office software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access etc.)
  • Proficient in data tools/skills including Excel advanced functions (VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, PivotTable, Power Query, VBA/Macros), SQL, Python, R, regular expressions (Regex), and additional relevant skills are an asset
  • Good analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good team player and detail-oriented
  • Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English
