We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Insurance Strategy Manager.

 

In this role you will:

  • Strategy definition: support the function to shape the business’ strategic direction, defining its components through analysing market context, opportunities, risks and challenges. The role will also provide insights into emerging or disruptive trends to grow and future-proof its business.
  • Align and deliver: Provide meaningful insights and recommendations to support business decisions, communicating and translating wider strategy into executable elements within the organisation through identifying suitable scope, defining KPIs/OKRs, opportunity sizing and/or delivery plans.
  • Executive Reporting & Governance: facilitate the executive decision-making process through preparation of high-quality analysis, thematic papers, management information and forum materials for senior business leaders.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: develop and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, business partners, industry organisations, and solution providers to identify opportunities and strengthen collaboration to further the business’ strategic goals.
  • Projects & Business Initiatives: Oversee the ideation, formation and delivery of cross-functional strategic projects, coordinating milestones and managing both internal and external stakeholder engagements.

 

To be successful you will need:

  • University degree preferably in a relevant business field such as Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related disciplines
  • Proven working experience in the insurance industry; experience in delivering initiatives within in-house strategy functions of reputable multinational organisations would be advantageous
  • Self-driven, analytical, independent, with strong business acumen and capable of navigating complex challenges and relationships
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • AI proficiency with the ability to evaluate AI risks and opportunities
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, experience with business intelligence software such as Qlik or PowerBI a plus
  • Fluency in English and Cantonese, proficiency in Putonghua a plus
