We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior HNW Business Development Manager.

 

In this role you will:

  • Act as a client facing role to provide specialist advice on appropriate HSBC insurance solutions tailored to the needs of HNW customers 
  • Connect with HNW customers to build strong relationships and understand their financial goals and insurance needs
  • Drive HSBC insurance sales to fulfill customer’s insurance needs together with RMs
  • Act as subject matter expertise and provide coaching for RM teams on HSBC insurance products and propositions
  • Manage sales planning and pipeline prioritization activities
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to drive outcomes for the best interest of customers
  • Ensure all regulated activities are conducted in compliance with both internal policies and external regulatory requirements 
  • Maintain a strong focus on risk management and uphold HSBC’s commitment to conduct practices.

 

To be successful you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
  • Solid experience and understanding in life insurance products, HNW market trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prior experience within the insurance industry.
  • Insurance related license is required, including completion of Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examination Long Term Business (i.e. Principle & Practice of Insurance Examination [paper 1] and Long Term Insurance Examination [paper 3]), and complying with related Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements
  • Proven track record of achieving business growth and developing strategic partnerships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
