We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Full-Stack Engineer.

In this role you will:

  • Design, build and maintain scalable software solutions using Java (Spring Boot). Own feature delivery from concept through production.
  • Implement cloud infrastructures on AWS, ensuring scalability, availability, and security.
  • Drive innovative use of new technologies, delivery methodologies and the Cloud to unleash team productivity throughout the SDLC.
  • Propel automation and engineering frameworks to improve operating efficiency and service availability.
  • Promote DevSecOps culture, security and compliance practices across the team

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.
  • Proven track record in delivering large scale payment projects, preferably in Financial Services industry.
  • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot, including building secure RESTful APIs, microservices and event-driven architectures.
  • Strong expertise in AWS cloud platforms, including services such as EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, EKS, MSK, API Gateway, CloudFront, etc.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform or similar tools for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud security best practices, identity and access management (IAM), compliance, and data protection.
  • Experience in containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding and experience in DevSecOps and GitOps including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated infrastructure provisioning in cloud environments.
  • Hands on with Python, JavaScript, shell scripts or equivalent scripting languages.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a creative approach to overcome challenges.
  • Experience working with teams from different geographical locations.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • AWS, and Kubernetes certification is a plus.
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese. Mandarin is an advantage.
