Job description
We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Business Analyst.
In this role you will:
- Own solution design for Credit platform capabilities across application, decisioning, simulation, and reporting.
- Lead the Business Analysis practice within the Credit platform, embedding consistent standards, templates, and ways of working.
- Partner with business and IT stakeholders across multiple countries to translate goals, priorities, and requirements into clear, actionable deliverables.
- Act as the bridge between business, risk, operations, and engineering teams.
- Represent Credit Technology in project working groups and governance forums, driving alignment, decisions, and timely delivery.
- Create epics, user stories, business requirements, and functional specifications with clear acceptance criteria.
- Produce functional designs for stories planned for development, including process flows, data mappings, business rules, and exception handling.
- Support the Product Owner with backlog refinement, prioritisation, dependency management, and release planning.
- Lead technical design reviews, architecture alignment, and delivery planning.
- Drive integration with upstream and downstream systems, including trading, risk, finance, and data platforms.
- Ensure quality through clear acceptance criteria, test strategy, QA support, and release governance.
- Manage delivery risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication.
- Support regulatory, audit, and control requirements in solution design and rollout.
To be successful you will need:
- Strong experience in credit domain platforms within banking or financial services.
- Proven track record as a Tech Lead, BA Lead, or in a hybrid role within complex transformation programs.
- 10+ years’ experience delivering IT change in Agile and/or hybrid delivery models.
- Experience delivering projects in Wealth Management and/or Private Banking.
- Strong domain knowledge across Credit, Wealth Financing, and Investments.
- Hands-on understanding of enterprise architecture, APIs, event-driven integration, and data workflows.
- Strong skills in requirements engineering, process modeling, stakeholder management, and impact assessment.
- Experience delivering across the SDLC lifecycle in agile and controlled enterprise environments.
- Fluent English communication skills, written and spoken.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Proficient with delivery and documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Data analysis capability, including SQL, defining data requirements, and supporting data quality and reconciliation.
- Ability to define and validate non-functional requirements, including performance, resilience, availability, observability, and scalability.
- Experience in collateral management, margin monitoring, and credit workflow modernization.
- Familiarity with architecture governance and documentation standards in large financial institutions.
- Exposure to risk simulation, stress testing, and credit reporting platforms.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of global credit regulations and a risk-and-controls mindset.
- Experience collaborating with engineers and testers to define test scenarios, support UAT, and triage defects.
- Contribution to release and change activities, including cutover planning, operational readiness, and operational handover.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end system flows, dependencies, and integration points, including API-based and event/messaging integrations.
- Awareness of security and access control concepts, including authentication, authorisation, least privilege, and audit trails.
