We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Program Manager.

 

In this role you will need:

  • The Sub Value Stream Technology Lead owns, oversees and manages the technology delivery withing the Sub Value Stream (SVS), as part of the SVS leadership structure.
  • The SVS manages all key aspects of the Private Banking Client Lifecyle & Servicing including Onboarding, Relationship Management, Client Reporting, Periodic Reviews and Exit management.
  • The role manages technology cost and allocation resources, support prioritization of delivery ensuring that it is in line with agreed budget and serves as the key decision authority on technical solutions and dependencies for the Sub Value Stream.
  • Owns the Technology delivery within a VS. Supports prioritisation of delivery, especially regarding Technology feasibility and technical work. Key decision authority on technical solutions and dependencies
  • Accountable with the VS Business Lead for establishing and delivering the end-to-end Sub Value Stream (SVS) contribution to the FSA and OKRs.
  • Leads, oversees and manages the end-to-end technology delivery within a Sub Value Stream. Support prioritization of delivery in line with agreed budgets and serves as the key decision authority on technical solution and dependencies. Validation of demand / technical delivery from teams.
  • Drives high Technology service performance, resolving incidents in a timely fashion.
  • Ensures appropriate global, reusable technologies and capabilities are leveraged for efficient technology delivery.
  • Ensures SVS resources have the right skills to deliver new features and capabilities, maintain and support domain applications, and adopt  Agile and DevOps practices.
  • Ensures alignment of the technology roadmap and strategy with the SVS and enterprise-level FSAa and OKRs, embedding agile ways of working.
  • Drives collaboration across HSBC for co-design and is accountable for creation and deployment of technologies solutions, including ensuring alignment with market requirements.
  • Assesses feasibility of delivery for proposed solutions (including remediation to vulnerabilities in Important Business Services (IBS) that breach risk tolerance) and the SVS’s readiness to build them to support prioritization backlog.
  • Specifically accountable for the efficient delivery of technology within the SVS including location strategy and use of 3rd party resources. Accountable to ensure transparency of technology charges to the SVS including recovery of incurred costs.
  • Accountable for the oversight and management of all associated direct and managed costs incurred by the SVS.
  • Act as a single IT owner for the SVS Business Lead and any IBS requirements being the primary contact point for the BSO (Business Service Owner) for technology deliverables within the SVS.
  • Accountable for the SVS to the adherence to the Change Framework and Changes Execution Risk Policy.
  • Collaboration: Proactively establishes meaningful relationships and collaborates effectively with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders across diverse cultures, perspectives, and seniority levels, in both virtual and physical environments, to achieve a strategic shared goal.
  • Curiosity: Able to encourage and guide others to develop curiosity, a learning mindset, creativity and innovation skills. Consistently comes up with new ideas to solve problems in unique ways and take creative risks to implement them.
  • Crisis Management: Quickly establishes and implements strategies to maintain delivery and minimise the impact of unforeseen, serious, and complex negative events across VS/Portfolios or multiple platforms. Ensures adherence to policies and procedures, acting as a key escalation point. Leads organisational-level investigations, conducts root cause analysis, and finds and implements resolutions. 
  • Critical Thinking: Leads, teaches, and coaches to ensure proactive investigation, resolution, and anticipation of problems, implementing solutions and preventative measures. Anticipates issues and understands how they fit into the larger picture.
  • Reporting: Produce tailored, quality, concise and professional materials that accurately describe, explain or instruct highly complex, strategic VS / Portfolio level actions / decisions, activities and information.
  • Agile Acumen: Defines and advocates for Agile practices and modern approaches to consistently deliver value to customers across VS/Portfolios.
