We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Product and Execution Risk Oversight Senior Manager.

The Product and Execution Risk Oversight Senior Manager plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the integrity and efficiency of IWPB HK’s retail wealth business. Reporting to the Head of Product and Execution Risk, you will centralize and drive assurance reviews, introduce data and analytics to enhance risk oversight, and lead thematic reviews across the business. You will be instrumental in embedding robust controls, ensuring compliance with Professional Investor processes, Cross Border activities, and the Code of Banking Practice, while championing control efficiency and continuous improvement.

In this role you will:

• Centralize and coordinate assurance reviews across the retail wealth business, ensuring consistency, rigour, and actionable outcomes.
• Introduce and embed data and analytics capabilities to enhance risk identification, monitoring, and reporting.
• Lead and execute thematic reviews to proactively identify and address emerging risks, control gaps, and process inefficiencies.
• Provide subject matter expertise and oversight on Professional Investor processes, Cross Border activities, and adherence to the Code of Banking Practice.
• Drive control efficiency initiatives, streamlining processes and eliminating unnecessary complexity while maintaining robust risk management.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Product and Execution Risk, senior management, and key stakeholders to ensure visibility and effective remediation of key risks.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability within the team and across the business.
• Influence and guide colleagues at all levels, building strong relationships and driving cross-functional collaboration to achieve shared goals.
• Be prepared to take ownership, get involved in the detail, and deliver results under pressure.

To be successful you will need:

Functional Knowledge

• Deep understanding of retail wealth business, products, and associated risks.
• Strong knowledge of Professional Investor processes, Cross Border activities, and the Code of Banking Practice.
• Experience in designing and executing assurance reviews and thematic risk assessments.
• Proficiency in leveraging data and analytics for risk management and business insight.
• Proficiency in Cantonese and English

• Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and inspire teams and stakeholders at all levels.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, adapting to changing priorities, and driving change in a fast-paced environment.
