We are currently seeking a motivated professional to join our private banking operations team as an Officer.
In this role you will:
- Perform day-to-day private banking operations in one or more of the following areas: securities settlement, structured products, payments, data maintenance or reconciliations.
- Partner with GSCs in Manila and Bangalore to deliver service level performance and resolve exceptions efficiently.
- Investigate and resolve breaks, exceptions and front office queries.
- Support internal control procedures, such as incident management and control review.
- Support change delivery, including product/system enhancements, test planning and execution, and coordination of UAT.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying root causes, proposing process enhancements and supporting automation/standardisation initiatives.
To be successful you will need:
- University degree in a related discipline or other relevant qualifications.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in banking operations, with sound knowledge of investment products and operations and relevant regulations preferred.
- Strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently with good problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of application software such as MS Excel / MS Access / SWIFT / Euroclear / BBH preferred.
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
- Great sense of ownership and service mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes.
