We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Head Of IAM Asia Pacific.
In this role you will:
- Define and execute the regional IAM strategy in alignment with global objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement and maturity uplift of IAM processes, controls, and operating models.
- Ensure IAM capabilities effectively support digital transformation and evolving business needs.
- Anticipate emerging risks and regulatory developments impacting identity governance.
- Maintain a strong IAM governance and control framework across the region.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Oversee risk identification, mitigation planning, and remediation tracking.
- Act as senior point of contact for audit and regulatory engagements.
- Oversee delivery of core IAM services including identity lifecycle management, access provisioning, recertification, and privileged access governance.
- Ensure consistent service standards and performance across all regional entities.
- Monitor operational KPIs, service resilience, and control effectiveness.
- Promote standardisation, automation, and scalable best practices.
- Partner with senior Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Business leaders.
- Represent IAM in regional leadership and governance forums.
- Translate complex technical and risk topics into clear, executive-level insights.
- Align global standards with regional implementation realities.
- Lead and develop regional IAM managers and specialist teams.
- Build a high-performance culture with clear accountability and ownership.
- Drive talent development, succession planning, and capability uplift.
- Foster a strong risk-aware and customer-focused mindset.
To be successful you will need:
- Extensive experience in Identity & Access Management or Information Security leadership roles.
- Strong understanding of identity governance, access control frameworks, and risk management principles.
- Proven experience operating within regulated and complex environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-country or matrix-based teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Strategic mindset combined with operational execution discipline
- Experience leading large-scale IAM transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with industry-recognised IAM frameworks and best practices.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) desirable.
- A resilient and compliant IAM control environment.
- Clear regional accountability and governance structure.
- Improved audit outcomes and reduced risk exposure.
- Scalable IAM services supporting business growth.
- Engaged and high-performing regional teams
