We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Global Delivery Lead CBCC Technology.

 

Description & Role Purpose


The successful candidate will have responsibility for delivering the global technology change portfolio for Cross-border Cross-currency (CBCC) technology while providing regional leadership working in partnership with the CBCC platform teams and broader stakeholders across Technology, Operations and Product. As a member of the CBCC Technology leadership team, he/she will have accountability into the Global Head of the CBCC Technology Sub-value Stream, within Global Payment Solutions and operate with a globally distributed team; with entity aligned headcount circa 25, functional global headcount circa 30.

 
Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities

 

  • Strategic Program Delivery: Lead the delivery priorities of key initiatives across CBCC technology globally, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology roadmaps.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders, regional CIOs, and Payment Operations functions to align technology solutions with regional business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Service Performance & Platform Resilience: Maintain necessary focus on operational resilience and service performance of regional cross-border cross-currency (CBCC) technology assets working together with risk stewards and champions. Represent CBCC interests and risk forums as required and build deep understanding of the technology service chains servicing the region.
  • Regional Leadership: Provide our teams in the Asia markets with the required support to align with the CBCC business strategy and carry the vision on the multi-year journey of change.

 

Qualifications / Knowledge & Experience

 

  • Proven track record as a technology leader with experience in the payments domain with deep understanding of the risk and controls agenda.
  • Extensive experience managing payments technology initiatives in complex, global organisations with diverse regional requirements, particularly across Hong Kong and Asia region.
  • Preference in understanding of cross border payments products, ISO 20022, SWIFT and payment engine design and operating principles as well as modern technologies including Kafka, Kubernetes and CI/CD tool chains.
  • Intellectually curious: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess technology risks and develop mitigation strategies with the ability to grow detailed knowledge of operational risk management & regulatory landscape within payments.
  • Demonstrable capability in leading high functioning and high performing global teams, across multiple countries and cultures on the execution of cross-regional technology initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior business leaders and technology partners.
