We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Director, Pricing.
In this role you will:
- Lead, coach and develop the team to work closely with Product development, Actuarial and Distribution
- Optimize product pricing with executable solution to balance between profitability, market competitiveness and risk
- Ensure robust end-to-end pricing process and proactively identify rooms for improvement to excellence
- Liaise with various local and group office stakeholders for product approval
- Bridging business and risk functions and provide management insights on top of numerical results
- Ensure compliance of group pricing framework, internal controls and respective governance
- Support annual profitability review and fulfillment analysis to evaluate portfolio performance
- Support ad hoc project and initiatives as assigned by Head of Pricing
To be successful you will need:
- Qualified actuary with minimum 10 years’ experience in insurance / actuarial industry, preferably covering product pricing and financial reporting
- Strong business acumen with in-depth and up-to-date market knowledge
- Excellent problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills
- Leverage strong analytical skills and communication skills to articulate complex concepts in business language
- Proactive critical thinker with innovative mindset, able to drive changes
- Demonstrate leadership, good team player and stakeholder management
