We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Business Capability and Solution Lead - Digital Platforms
In this role you will:
Strategy Execution & Advisory:
- Translate Digital Platforms strategy into executable business architecture, operating models and transformation initiatives.
- Conduct strategic analysis and develop Executive-quality recommendations supporting Digital Platforms priorities.
- Solve ambiguous enterprise problems using structured consulting approaches and hypothesis-driven thinking.
- Develop business cases, commercial assessments and strategic recommendations supporting investment decisions.
- Benchmark industry trends, emerging technologies and leading practices to inform Digital Platforms evolution
Business Architecture:
- Establish enterprise capability roadmaps supporting long-term Digital Platform transformation.
- Develop reusable business capability models and enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Define target operating models that improve alignment across customer strategy, business capabilities, platforms and technology.
Transformation & Governance:
- Develop business cases, commercial assessments and prioritisation frameworks supporting investment decisions.
- Support transformation programmes by ensuring architecture, operating models and governance remain aligned.
AI & Future Banking:
- Help HSBC transition towards AI-native and Agentic Banking.
- Shape capabilities that support AI orchestration, automation and digital platforms. Identify opportunities to leverage AI, Automation, and reusable platform capabilities
What we’re looking for:
- We are looking for someone who combines curiosity as a consultant with the execution of a business architect. You thrive in ambiguity, enjoy solving enterprise-wide problems and are motivated by turning strategy into practical outcomes. You are naturally collaborative, comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and passionate about shaping the future of digital banking.
Experience
- 8–12 years’ experience in management consulting, enterprise strategy, business architecture or large-scale transformation.
- Proven experience delivering complex enterprise-wide strategic initiatives within financial services or another highly regulated industry.
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and leading cross-functional programmes.
- Experience designing operating models, business capabilities and strategic roadmaps.

- Become a strategic advisor to the Head of Digital Platforms Strategy, Governance and Operations
- Help shape the capabilities that enable HSBC’s evolution towards AI-enabled, platform-led and Agentic Banking.
