Purpose of the role:
Address business problems with quantitative solutions like building predictive algorithms / forecasting / scenario simulations etc. Converting a business problem into a quantitative construct, solve it with available statistical / mathematical methods (following the right rigour), engage with IT to implement and finally interpret the outcomes in business language. The range of business problems may cover areas of business growth, improving customer experience, limiting risk exposure, capital quantification, enhancing internal business processes etc. They are required to, as necessary, embed agile & exploration practices into their approach, justify the choice of appropriate methods to various internal and external reviewers. The role-holder would be required to, as necessary, embed agile & exploratory practices into their approach as needed, and retain the flexibility to change track to adopt other solutions based on changed scenarios, to deliver effective results. This talent group is expected to keep themselves apprised of latest developments and industry practices around emerging methodologies, techniques etc. and bring those in-house by applying them for better outcomes. The talent group can also be tapped into for providing solutions for varying areas including improving existing processes, technology, and approaches by embedding exploratory & analytics & taking it forward.
In this role, you will:
- Execute various analyses and develop strategies to support business decisions across the customer lifecycle for a particular product/market. Provide support for analytical/strategy projects. Complete analysis as required and document results and present findings to stakeholders.
- Execute moderate to complex analysis and strategy with proper instructions. Write efficient codes to process data for the required business problems. Ability to convert business problem to an analytical problem. Identify business problems/new opportunities to drive higher business value. Diagnose and resolve moderate to complex analytical problems
- Providing high-quality analysis and strategy recommendations to business problems. Manage delivery within agreed timelines and as per agreed quality standards. Also drive business benefit through self-initiated projects

- We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager Data & Analytics.
- The Messaging Operations Analyst is responsible for the data selection of 1:1 multi-channel/multi-step customer communications covering, mandatory (i.e. PSD2 comms, NoV, etc.), Service (branch closures, internet outage, etc.), Marketing (newsletters, Loan acquisition etc.). Communication to the customer covers, email, paper mail, outbound calling, internet banking prompts, Statement Inserts and messaging, Incentive payments etc.
To be successful you will:
- Strong analytical skills with business analysis aptitude. Knowledge and understanding of financial-services/ banking-operations is preferred
- Knowledge of SAS, SQL, Python, Cloud Technologies, other equivalent analytical tools & platforms. Good knowledge of Analytical and ML concepts like modeling, forecasting, segmentation etc
- Besides strong written and verbal communication skills the incumbent is also expected to have strong presentation skills. Working knowlegde of Agile methodologies / working as part of an Agile team .
- Knowledge of data manipulation within large complex databases and extraction of data from multiple sources.
- Ability to work on own but also as part of a larger team to achieve a common goal/objective. Actively engages with others to gain different perspectives and knowledge.
- Problem solving skills and resolution management. Intermediate technical skill. Intermediate level skill set of core data repositories (SAMS/Teradata/CIM/VCX/SAS/SQL/PEGA)
- Written and verbal communication skills. Ability to develop and effectively communicate complex concepts and ideas. Ability to work in cross-functional teams. Strong interpersonal skills and drive for success.
- Maintain the level of communication/interaction across the team and direct manager including onshore business partners. Strong analytical skills with business analysis aptitude. Knowledge and understanding of financial-services/ banking-operations is advantageous.
