We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Fund Accountant – FTC role

 

In this role you will

 

  • Participate in and contribute to the implementation of business solutions to eliminate manual processes.
  • Identify and streamline manual processes to enhance operational control. Enable and implement technology upgrades.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing for the business (as required).
  • Responsible for delivering high-quality pack outputs across multiple Traditional fund portfolios.
  • Drive a strong focus on service quality across Traditional fund portfolios.
  • Implement process enhancements and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Primarily responsible for preparing NAV packs and performing checker activities as required.
  • Escalate exceptions to the appropriate teams to ensure resolution before finalizing the pack.
  • Develop and maintain mutually respectful & successful relationships with internal customers & business partners.

 

 

To be successful, you will:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other qualifications relevant to the accounting/finance industry.
  • 0-2 years of relevant/accounting work experience.
  • Good knowledge of Capital Markets and Financial instruments.
  • Basic knowledge of end to end product and process, multiple market and regulations.
  • Strong grasp of accounting principles and fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize and adjust workloads based on changing circumstances and meet strict deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of the E2E Fund Accounting Model.
  • Basic knowledge of custody, brokerage, depository, investment accounting, mutual funds and reconciliations.
