Through Global Network Banking, our international network offers comprehensive support and services for inbound investments to Indonesia including market acquisition. From new FDI through capital injection to managing the cash and trade flows of an established investments and the expansions, the Global Network Banking team of Relationship Managers and Product Specialists provides a range of end-to-end solutions designed to support multinational corporates investment in Indonesia. 

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

The RM will manage a portfolio of multinational corporate clients with various degrees of client complexity but mostly will fall under medium complexity. The position will be accountable for sales, services, risk, and operational delivery of the assigned portfolios as well as actively growing current portfolios. In addition, he/she will be supporting specific strategic initiatives such as Corridor Champion, Sector Champion, and Unbanked Subsidiaries. The aim is to (i) increase market penetration locally and profitability within the framework of HBID GNB strategic plan (ii) acquire new relationships and protecting as well as growing share of wallet of existing relationships (iii) ensure synergies in delivering & maximizing returns to our franchise; ensure GRMs/RRMs/Country Desks are aware, focused, and prioritize Indonesia (iv) collaborate with product partners at all times and effective use of various platforms to support client agenda and client activities (v) have wide connections within and outside of HSBC to maximize business development opportunities and achieve targets in a competitive environment (vi) proactively manage risk including but not limited to credit risk, market risk, operational risk, financial crime risk. 

 

  • Manage inbound relationships with an emphasis on revenue growth, business development and risk management.
  • Manage and coordinate customers' banking requirements in the market
  • Develop new customer relationships with particular emphasis on developing cross border opportunities with HSBC clients headquartered outside Indonesia.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with overseas HSBC Global Relationship Managers, Regional Relationship Managers, and key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deliver excellent banking services, integrating our capabilities into solutions meeting customers' strategic needs.
  • Responsibility to drive growth in conjunction with key product partners particularly with Global Payments Solutions, Global Trade Solutions, and Markets and Securities Services.
  • Implement Global Standards at all stages of the customer onboarding and relationship management lifecycle.
  • Ensure all regulatory, financial and legal requirements are adhered

 

 

 

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

 

  • Corporate banking experience with recent exposure in a front line role, including exposure to sales, commercial lending, credit structures, risk assessment and trade finance. Prior experience in managing Multinationals portfolios is preferred
  • Evidence of building customer relationships and achieving stretching revenue goals.
  • In-depth understanding of the local market, sector related, including regulatory landscape.
  • Proven track record of portfolio growth and new to bank business acquisition.
  • Solid experience in frontline position
  • Proactive, customer driven approach, with a strong sales and marketing orientation and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Wide breadth of product knowledge
  • Well-developed interpersonal, influencing and presentation skills with highly motivated and prepared to accept challenges mindset.
  • Effective communication skills across all levels
  • Relevant Risk Management Certification
