Responsibilities:
- To lead a Clearing and Name Screening team in HBID to deliver an agreed set of business objectives.
- To identify and realize agreed savings by automating, standardizing and right-shoring the delivery processes for the business, whilst maintaining or improving risk and customer experience.
- There is a particular focus on Cheque processing/Clearing & Collection for Jakarta, Medan, Surabaya and Name Screening.
- To allow on-going specialist relationship management, working closely with senior business users, key stakeholders, supplier executives / account members and the Bank's Accountable Executive.
- To lead cheque processing department, to identify, plan, assess, manage, monitor, control, make timely and measured judgments on Cheque processing services received via the branch networks.
- The job holder is expected to be consistently providing the delivery of high standard Cheque clearing transaction and Name Screening processing to internal and external customers, in line with the strategic and operating plan of HSBC Indonesia to grow the shareholder value, revenue, profitability and to protect the Group reputation.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in operations or in a directly related business/function with minimum 3 years’ experience in leading a team.
- Previous experience in Operations Management including strong operational control capabilities and a proven track record in delivery.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail combined with a strong delivery focus and ability to meet aggressive timeframes with quality results.
- Excellent planning, organizing and commercial skills including strong financial management capability with tenacy to drive through results.
- Ability to maintain composure and drive right outcomes under high risk business recovery scenarios.
- Strong relationship management capabilities, with great leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Balance approach to risk management including techniques to mitigate risk.
- Ability to interact and build relationship with all levels of internal and external stakeholders, including Regulators and other local bank.
- Operates well across cultures an in multi-cultural diverse work enviroments.
- Ability to leverages resources outside of direct control to achieve goals.
