This team leads the implementation of the Group’s people strategy in line with our business objectives. It facilitates talent management, succession planning, and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of VP ER Advisory Manager
Responsibilities:
The job holder of this role is responsible a stable and condusive employee relations climate which positively impacts employee engagement, efficiency and productivity of all employees. The role also accountable for the assurance of bank's consistent implementation of internal regulations such as Collective LAbour Agreement (CLA), Code of Conduct, POlicies, Director's Decree; and external regulations; ensuring disruptions to the day to day activities and operations of the Bank are minimised or eliminated through proactive interventions to mitigate employee and industrial relations risks; ensure the working environment is condusive and harmonious employees and industrial relations environment and is aligned to the organizational goals of the Bank.
Key Accountabilities
- Provides support the management in the successful negotiation of Collective Bargaining Agreement with relevant union.
- Contributes to the effective functioning of the employee grievance and disciplinary process in the Bank.
- Works closely with other areas of the bank with regard to implementation of change initiatives for example outsourcing, restructuring, process improvement, etc.
- Works with external legal counsel and specialist consultants as required for the purposes of dispute avoidance and or resolutions.
- Liason with Government officials and external parties as required.
- Strategically develop and maintain positive relations and communication between Management and HSBC Union/Employees.
- Manage both staff grievance and issues as deem necessary align with regulations or company policies.
- Ensure the Bank complies with various Labour laws and normative employment requisites.
- Oversees the implementation of tribunal actions as required.
Requirement:
- Has a minimum Bachelor Degree with 7 years experience in Employee/Industrial Relations, having an HR generalist experience would be an advantage.
- Possess knowledge in Indonesian Labour Laws.
- Get used in working with high risk and compliance environment, yet fast pace and high productivity work conditions.
- Ability to prioritise and work independently under pressure within team environment.
- Have professional attitude, integrity and a team player.
- High degree of credibiity, responsibility and integrity.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English is mandatory.
