We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role SVP Business Management and Controls Head – Global Payments Solutions.

 

The SVP Business Management and Controls Head plays an important role in supporting the Head of Global Payments Solutions to perform business management functions and ensure effective risk and control management. Key responsibilities include supporting the GPS Head in managing the GPS business, ensuring GPS business meets financial targets, formulating business strategies, monitoring performance against targets, implementation and oversight of the Risk Management Framework, implementing and maintaining robust risk governance and control environment. 

 

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Plan and drive GPS P&L growth across GPS Indonesia in business management capacity through engagement with GPS Indonesia leadership team and relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop suitable strategies and plan initiatives required to grow GPS business in Indonesia in engagement with the GPS leadership team and perform the initiatives tracking.
  • Provide analysis and identify insights in business performance trends and create the storyboard for business review or communication.
  • Leverage suitable business analytics platform to enhance business performance visibility and deliver insights.
  • Works across GPS teams to align a set of key business performance metrics and utilises appropriate tools to track performance progress and enhance management visibility.
  • Oversee the risk and control related to GPS business, managing the operational risk and control environment.
  • Provide specialist risk and control knowledge and insights, leading efforts to continuously improve the control environment and monitoring of risk.
  • Provide Senior Management with updates on any relevant changes to policy or projects related to operational risk that have an impact on their area of responsibility.

 

 

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

 

  • University Graduate with 10+ years of experience, preferably in banking industry
  • Strong project management and senior stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Understanding of transaction banking business and products.
  • Business management (including P&L management) expertise and experienced in formulating business strategy and performance tracking.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Experienced in operational risk management.
  • Knowledge of regulatory environment in banking industry.
  • Exposure to operations and control environment, such as systems and operations support, and/or audit or compliance.
  • Able to conceptualize the operational impact of business changes, understand the relevant risks and mitigations.
