This team partners closely with business teams to drive simplification and deliver exceptional customer outcomes in Asia and the Middle East region which covers 26 markets, 600+ offices and branches, and more than 140,000 employees. By strengthening our control environment and enhancing risk management, we drive operational excellence and enable the bank to deliver focused and sustainable growth in this super-region.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of AVP/VP Protective Security Manager
Responsibilities:
- SME for Protective Security (PS)
- Physical Security and Guarding (Building, Branches and Head Offices)
- Security Operations (alarm, CCTV, access control)
- Risk Management, Risk Assessment and Security Site Assessment.
- Operationally oversee all Protective Security activities
- Manage the response and resolution to material security incident.
- Manage PS team and provide clear strategic direction and leadership.
- Build trusting relationships with key stakeholders based on a common understanding of roles and responsibilities.
- Ensure PS team works in alignment with security standards, policy and applicable local regulations.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- 8-10 years experience in managing a large security team including security vendors.
- Strong experience in Security system operational (alarm, CCTV, access)
- Strong experience in managing security for events that require security and VIP
- Significant protective security management knowledge and practical experience and managing security related incident.
- Detailed understanding of security controls, techniques and application and Security Risk Management
- Knowledge of the Bank organization and its processes is advantage.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate and negotiate with all levels of management.
- Ability to be an initiator and strong leadership and organizational and planning skill.
- Bachelor Degree and Professional qualification within relevant discipline (Security and Safety)
