Job description

In this role, the candidate will manage the following

  • To drive the strategy of IWPB Employee Banking Solutions for the allocated market
  • To acquire, maintain relationships and increase product penetration within corporates by engaging with Key Influencers, by leading a team of 14-15 Relationship Managers to drive EBS, Credit Cards, Personal Loans, Any time Credit and Top UP Medical Health Insurance ( BAGIC)
  • To ensure that the quality of the corporates acquired are in line with the strategic focus of the Bank
  • To ensure the team engages with existing EBS customers to increase penetration across various digital platforms (eg Mobile X & PIB), IVR Card activations and salary credits.
  • Drive open market business (Credit Cards, Personal Loans etc) through activities/deployments, promotions & lead based calling.
  • Develop a robust, diligent and compliant sales channel
  • To liaise with product and support teams on a constant basis to enhance customer offerings and service delivery
  • To adhere to all regulatory guidelines and handle complaints effectively.
  • Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets

 

Key activities to be driven

  1. Work closely with both the GB/CMB RMs and MSF Business Development Managers (BDM) to engage with key decision makers of target corporates. Actively participate in presenting the HSBC EBS proposition with the objective to empanel them for the salary proposition
  2. Increase penetration of the corporates employee salary accounts with HSBC in the desired customer segments (Premier, personal Bankers)
  3. Make corporate work site marketing activities/deployments (WSMs) more interactive and effective
  4. Drive the overall asset strategy of WPB within the corporate space by identifying under penetrated opportunity segments, showcasing HSBCs offering and driving growth.
  5. Consistent delivery of the operating plan across all key products like EBS, Personal Banking accounts, PIL Cards, Premier Accounts)
  6. Controlling/lowering cost of acquisition within mandated cost guidelines
  7. Optimizing sourcing mix to focus on profitable segments in corporates
  8. Ensure minimal documentation errors (KYC) by driving the Right First Time behaviour across the team

Requirements

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

  1. University level education, preferably a MBA with 10 -15 years of experience in banking.
  2. Front line sales experience is must in onboarding Salary Accounts, Personal Loans, Cards will be preferred.
  3. Good relationship management skills in order to engage effectively with both corporates and customers.
  4. Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined with the ability to work effectively and independently

 

Pro-tip : Familiarity with AI-enabled tools is an advantage. 

 

  • Mandatory to successfully complete Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions training and post-course assessment, as required.
