We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Test Manager,  User Acceptance Testing

In this role, you will:

  • GPS UAT Test Manager is key Role in Payments Infra that ensures proposed functional changes are thoroughly analyzed, Test coverage is documented, validated, and verified to deliver appropriate business outcome.
  • GPS UAT Test Manager will lead a team of UAT testers and provide functional support and guidance to the team and ensure the efficacy of testing, manage the risks by timely identification of issues and management of the defects.
  • The role also requires the individual to analyze BRD, Scheme documents, give inputs on BRD/requirements around acceptance criteria and identify applicable test scenarios in line with required business outcome.
  • Help maintain requirement traceability from UAT perspective to ensure appropriate testing coverage.
  • Accountable for creation and execution of UAT test cases, test strategy / plans and scripts
  • Review and Analysis of Industry Testing packs and agreement with regional product owners on scope.
  • Participate in Industry testing, discuss and raise risks if any on timelines in conjunction with IT project managers.
  • Co-ordination and organization of the project preparation and completion; liaison between applications, operations and different project streams.
  • Ensure the testing timelines are met and any risks and dependencies are highlighted at the appropriate stage of the project. Must be able to analyze defect and compare with requirements to identify gaps.
  • Communicate with stakeholders or UAT Managers to raise and get impediments resolved for UAT testing.And send detailed status summary reports to all stakeholders on UAT testing.

To be successful you will:

  • Overall, 6-9 years of experience in Software Testing. Majority in Payments Processing Testing area.
  • Knowledge and hands on experience of Payments Testing and ISO20022 / XML Payments formats is essential
  • Robust understanding of MT, MX payment types and payments E2E workflow
  • Understanding and experience in working with Business Requirement documents and Functional Specifications. Have strong interpersonal skills, focus on delivery for the customer and very good at communication/planning and organisation.
  • Leadership, negotiation, influencing and people skills are key to the success of this role. Strong planning, organizing, prioritization and coordination skills evidenced by achievement of objectives
  • Exposure to End-to-End Testing and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage expectations of multiple stakeholders. Analytical skills – To be able to document process flows, analyses and identify areas for improvement. Excellent Communication (written / verbal) & co-ordination skills.
  • Ability to generate reports to suit all audience. The reports should be coherent, accurate and should help management decision making. 
  • Working Knowledge of tools like QC, Confluence and JIRA
  • Take ownership and accountability for creating and updating information in project plans and meeting the timelines mentioned through effective Navigation
  • A good team player. Evidence of strong project management deliverables, from an IT perspective.
