We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to follow coding best practices and deliver on time.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and a team player.
• Optimize database performance and data storage solutions.
• Analyse & review scope for new requirements/solutions & changes.
• Deliver within schedule by adhering to the engineering and Quality standards. 
• Perform post release reviews, implement actions & improvements.
• Participate in troubleshooting of incidents. This would require joining crisis call and working with teams and vendors for a resolution.
• Performing trend analysis of the incidents and help design a solution to resolve them permanently.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• 6+ years of experience of working with PowerShell and Python.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, SQL development, Object Store, REST APIs, Web Services, Microservices
• Understanding of End User Estate with knowledge of Microsoft Windows Technologies Windows OS, Active Directory, Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
• Ability to prioritize decisions with a focus on quality, stakeholder requirements & end user experience.
• Knowledge and experience of using Agile delivery methods and tools to implement both tactical and strategic changes.
• Strong interpersonal skills – ability to influence, good judgement, assertiveness, high level of communication skills for variety of audience, build consultative relationships & ability to collaborate directly with a variety of stakeholders.
• Ability to work across geographies and time zones with a variety of teams.  Respectful of different cultures, working with colleagues from across the globe.
• Strong sense of ownership & urgency, ability to prioritize, attention to detail, flexibility, sense of vigilance & adherence to all compliance procedures & policies.
• Experience of having worked in an infrastructure critical environment for a large organization like HSBC or part of global teams in a complex and changing technical environment would be advantage.
