We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will:

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain production instances of open sources platforms
  • Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
  • Security configurations & patches to protect from vulnerabilities.
  • Establish and manage connections to various DBs
  • Configure user authentication via integrations with LDAP, OAuth, or other authentication services.
  • Manage user groups, roles, and permissions to control data access..
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for end-users, assisting with platform issues and requests.
  • Enable advanced features e.g Superset's rich visualization library, Metabase's interactive drill-down capabilities.
  • Set up and manage automated email and Slack alerts and reports for open source platforms.
  • Tuning for production environments, for better performance.
  • Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker, for deployment and maintenance.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to manage team and guide on critical and priority issues.
  • Aware of OLA/SLAs and able to define and agree with Business.
  • Able to manage Releases and disaster recovery drills.
  • Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and understanding their differences.
  • Familiarity with data governance and cataloging principles.
  • Knowledge of the Python ecosystem for extending Superset's functionality

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (in science, computers, information technology or engineering) 
  • GCP/AWS skills preferred
  • Expert in Windows / Linux, or Cloud admin with good Communication and Interpretation Skills
  • Have understanding in Opensource like Superset, Metabase
  • Strong knowledge of infra automation and configuration, management tools like terraform, Ansible, Jenkins,
  • Strong understanding with user authentication
  • Manage the resilient architectures
