We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager Source to Contract Data Specialist

In this role, you will:

  • This role is part of Global Source-To-Contract team functionally aligned to Head of Source-To-Contract. This role will support the SPS functional Source to Contract operational process activities, supporting both procurement and business users, as required. The role facilitates operational activities necessary to successfully support the end-to-end Source to Contract process, ensuring the process is simpler and more efficient for procurement and especially business users. The role delivers operational day-to-day Source to Contract process support activities – managed through to conclusion, in accordance with appropriate governance.
  • Providing Source to Contract operational support to the Strategic Procurement Services (SPS) function in the execution of Source to Contract (S2C) services under the leadership of the Global Head of Source to Contract.
  • Providing S2C subject matter expertise to the SPS function, supporting S2C process support activities and often leading/co-leading S2C process initiatives through to delivery. 
  • Assisting SPS by providing process support to help drive opportunities and enhanced value benefits for the Global Businesses/Global Functions.
  • Sharing Source to Contract strategic best practices and provision of process training to upskill S2C (Source to Contract) capability across SPS. Developing and maintaining related Source to Contract policies, procedures, and process training materials.
  • Providing system administration, support, governance, and any ongoing improvements to the Adobe esignature toolset across all countries where Strategic Procurement Services deployed.
  • Working closely with the onshore Source to Contract - eSign Deployment Project Manager to provide change management support to any new countries/users.
  • Providing MI to support oversight of global SPS Sourcing and Contract Management Performance. Working under the guidance of the Global Head of Source to Contract.

To be successful you will:

  • Financial services experience, Procurement experience and subject matter expertise in the end-to-end Source to Contract process, with demonstrated added value results
  • Experience of various Source to Contract Procurement toolsets, Coupa preferred, Knowledge and experience of Source to Contract strategic best practices. Strong analytical skills, Effective communicator with strong presentation skills.
  • Providing support and Source to Contract expertise to the SPS function to enable increased adoption of relevant tools and processes in order to maximise benefits delivered to HSBC.
  • Bringing knowledge, experience and sharing of S2C strategic best practices – imparting knowledge, and ensure awareness of the value of Sourcing and Contract Management to Global Businesses/Global Functions
  • Building effective relationships with stakeholders across Source to Contract, SPS, our outsourced providers, and Legal teams as appropriate, to help deliver the SPS S2C end to end process.
  • Be a mentor/support to QA team and help in building their knowledge around QA process.
