Job title: Manager - Reporting and Attestation

  • The Manger of Reporting is a key role within the Reporting and Attestation team reporting directly to the Head of Reporting, Reporting and Attestation, GCCO Office. The purpose of the role is to support the management and reporting on Material Controls (including aggregation) in support of GCCOO, the Board and its sub-committees and SLOD as well as the Global Business, Global Infrastructure and Entity CCOs/BRR teams.
  • The job holder will be working as an Individual Contributor where a team of highly skilled staff work together to provide a trusted source of high quality and consistent Management Information to a variety of stakeholders within the scope of the GCCO Office function.

In this role, you will:

  • Produce timely, accurate and insightful risk and control MI (including material controls) enabling informed decision making with clear commentary on trends highlighting themes.
  • Deliver and maintain high data quality and consistency, providing reliable analysis that enhances material control management.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline, standardize and automate reporting using appropriate tools and techniques, reducing manual effort and eliminating redundant activity.
  • Work as a key member of the team, partnering with the Reporting and Attestation team and the GCCO Office to deliver against multiple reporting requirements.
  • Build strong collaboration across the GCCO Office and GB/GI CCOs/BRR teams to align priorities, share best practices, and drive consistent reporting standards.

To be successful you will:

  • Proven experience in reporting and data analysis.
  • Demonstrated track record of improving and automating reporting processes by identifying opportunities and implementing innovative tools/techniques.
  • Proficiency in BI and analytics tools (e.g., Qlik Sense, Python), with hands-on expertise in designing and building high-quality dashboards and MI.
  • Advanced capability in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), including producing clear, executive-ready outputs.
  • Practical experience using AI-enabled tools to enhance productivity and accelerate insight generation, with a clear focus on responsible use, data confidentiality, and governance.
  • Good understanding of the Risk Management Framework and the associated systems, tooling, and reporting requirements.
  • Strong planning and prioritisation skills, able to manage competing demands in line with business priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proactive, delivery-focused mindset with strong ownership, ensuring deliverables are completed on time with clear accountability for outcomes.
  • Effective stakeholder and relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently.
  • Good understanding of HSBC values, structures, processes, and strategic objectives.
