In this role, you will:
- Independently conduct a wide variety of high priority and sensitive investigations across all financial crimes and insider risk areas, including bribery and corruption, AML, sanctions, fraud, conflicts of interest and more
- Conduct sensitive interviews including drafting of minutes of interviews and other investigative research activities
- Identify potential breaches in code of conduct of the Bank’s policy and other misconduct by employees and recommend appropriate mitigation actions
- Draft investigation reports related to high priority investigations and recommend actions on employees and recommend process improvements to business mitigate any finacial crime risk
- Present investigative findings, coherent risk analyses stemming from findings, and recommended risk mitigations and metrics to a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure MIS management, periodic updates of trackers and dashboard to senior management.
To be successful, you will:
- 5-10 years’ experience in investigative roles within financial crimes: AML, and/sanctions, fraud, and Insider Risk related matters
- 2+ years’ experience conducting information seeking interviews
- Strong knowledge of core banking customer data management systems or other bank enquiry systems
- Familiarity and experience with transaction monitoring and associated systems and case management systems
- Proven high quality spoken and written communication skills with the ability to draft written summaries and communicate conclusions effectively, in a clear, concise and professional manner
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including effective communications and dynamic problem solving
- Strong critical thinking, analytical skills and ability to make informed risk-based decisions and support with robust supporting rationale.
- Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)/ Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS) or International Compliance Association (ICA) certification is desirable
