We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager, Regulatory Compliance

 

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate with the RC Site Lead to provide compliance support and guidance on assigned regulations and risks, identify deficiencies, and ensure adherence to requirements including reviewing documentation for key projects.
  • Provide support and guidance to the team to ensure that RC risks are appropriately identified, reported and recorded in a timely manner.
  • Provide a quality day-to-day compliance service to a number of key business units and advisory services to the GSC Business(s).
  • Support execution and take measures for effective reporting of trend analysis metrics and all other available risk outputs.
  • Work with the wider compliance functions to identify emerging regulatory risk and to enhance and expand reportable issues.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with management in undertaking research, collation and analysis of data management information (MI) for presenting to the regulatory governing bodies and Senior management team.
  • Assist the RC GSC Site Lead in handling regulatory matters including on-site inspections, meetings, visits, surveys, administrative approvals.
  • Assist the RC GSC Site Lead in their support of Business Management in fulfilling their responsibilities in complying with the spirit and letter of all regulatory requirements and key Group requirements, as established by Group Compliance.

To be successful you will:

  • A degree in any discipline is mandatory. Higher qualification not a bar provided aspirations commensurate with the position.
  • Experience in legal, risk, compliance, or general audit within a banking/financial institution will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to analyse and assist stakeholders on implementation of complex regulation changes, where applicable.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizing and planning skills.
  • Strong relationship management skills with internal Site line management.
  • Strong communication, training facilitation, influencing, and negotiating skills.
  • Any qualifications obtained from a recognized compliance education establishment such as the International Compliance Association.
