Job Title: GR Product Support Analyst
Purpose of the role
TPM is a core service from Global Procurement, for colleagues to fulfil their Third Party Risk accountabilities associated with the use of Third Parties underpinned by a globally consistent workflow tool, currently RSA Archer and OneTPM (ServiceNow).
The Global Register is a workflow tool that enables HSBC to manage Materiality Assessment, Outsourcing Determination, and Regulatory Reporting for services provided by both internal and external third parties.
In this role, you will:
- Ensure that business requirements are accurately captured, regulatory obligations are understood, and the tool delivers a consistent, compliant and high-quality user experience across global teams.
- Gather, document and validate business requirements for enhancements, new features and regulatory changes.
- Analyse non-standard or complex requests to assess impact, feasibility and alignment with existing design principles.
- Produce and maintain clear artefacts including user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows and data definitions, as well as meeting minutes, governance logs and other audit-ready evidence.
- Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for the Global Register (GR) supporting the product roadmap and prioritisation decisions.
- Work closely with technology teams to clarify requirements, support agile processes, and ensure successful delivery of changes.
- Conduct design reviews to ensure enhancements maintain data integrity, usability and compliance alignment.
- Collaborate with representatives from global business units, policy & compliance experts, and operations to understand needs and ensure the tool meets expectations.
- Prepare and deliver training materials, guidance documentations and communications for system changes.
- Monitor feedback, issue themes and data quality to identify improvement opportunities.
- Support the governance and reporting of process & system changes for the GR. Technology and Opsl Risks are identified, managed and escalated in line with Group and business objectives
To be successful you will:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in TPM / supply chain risk management / Procurement systems, preferably within a Banking or Financial Services environment.
- Ability to elicit and translate complex regulatory or operational concepts into clear functional requirements.
- Ability to analyse production issues, and support troubleshooting / root cause analysis.
- Ability to communicate with senior stakeholders with impact and clarity. Excellent written skills with ability to articulate complex topics and problem statements effectively.
- Background in taking ownership for driving change and efficiency through design. Detail-oriented, analytical, excellent problem-solving skills, able to manage ambiguity.
- Strong governance mindset with a focus on quality and compliance outcomes.Core understanding of Agile Methodology and Change Management processes
- Experience with the Appian & ServiceNow products would be preferred
