We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of an Senior Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

  • Data integration for Pega Decisioning, Design and build ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest data from core systems (customer, product, channels, CRM, digital, campaign, consent) into the decisioning data layer. 
  • Deliver curated datasets for Pega components such as customer profile, interaction history, propositions/offers, eligibility, contact policies, and response/outcome tracking. Implement near-real-time or micro-batch patterns where required to support decisioning latency needs. Define and manage data interfaces/data contracts between upstream systems, the data platform, and Pega. Data modelling (decisioning + analytics) 
  • Create conceptual/logical/physical models to support decision strategies, propensity models, segmentation, and performance reporting. 
  • Build dimensional models (facts/dimensions) for interaction, response, offer, channel, and customer behaviour analytics. Design for slowly changing dimensions (SCD), history tracking, and auditability to support explainability and regulatory needs. 
  • Maintain business definitions, metric logic, and conformed dimensions across domains. Data quality, controls, and governance. Implement automated data quality checks (completeness, accuracy, timeliness, reconciliation) and monitoring/alerting. 
  • Ensure lineage, metadata, and documentation are maintained (data dictionary, model diagrams, pipeline runbooks). Apply secure data handling, access controls, and masking/tokenisation where needed for sensitive data. 
  • Support incident management, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement of data reliability. Engineering excellence and delivery leadership. Lead technical design, code reviews, and standards for ETL and modelling within the project. Drive CI/CD for data pipelines and infrastructure-as-code where applicable. 
  • Partner with Pega architects, decisioning SMEs, data scientists, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into deliverables. Mentor engineers and help uplift team capability in data engineering and modelling best practices. 

To be successful, you will:

  • Significant experience as a Senior ETL/ELT Engineer delivering production-grade pipelines and data models. Advanced SQL (complex transformations, optimisation, performance tuning). 
  • Strong data modelling expertise (dimensional modelling, SCD types, normalisation trade-offs, conformed dimensions). 
  • Proven experience integrating data for decisioning/personalisation platforms (Pega Decisioning preferred). 
  • Experience with orchestration and scheduling tools (e.g., Airflow, Control-M, Azure Data Factory, Informatica, dbt). Strong programming skills in Python/Scala/Java for data processing and automation. 
  • Hands-on experience with data warehouses/lakes (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Synapse, Teradata) and distributed processing (e.g., Spark). 
  • Solid understanding of data governance, metadata, and data quality frameworks.  Experience with Git, CI/CD, and DevOps ways of working. 
  • Direct experience with Pega Customer Decision Hub / Next-Best-Action, including interaction history and outcome capture patterns. Experience with real-time integration patterns (Kafka, event streaming, APIs) and CDC (e.g., GoldenGate, Debezium). 
  • Familiarity with consent/contact policy data and suppression logic for compliant decisioning. Knowledge of model monitoring and decision performance reporting (champion/challenger, A/B testing, uplift). Experience with data catalogue tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Purview).
