We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Data Analysis

Principal responsibilities

  • Lead/Support and coordinate regulatory change projects focused on data management within Credit Risk reporting domain, ensuring timely and accurate implementation of requirements (eg, Basel 3, 3.1, PRA101, Corep and Pillar 3)
  • Support/Establish and enhance data governance structures, policies and controls to secure, validate and justify all credit risk data used in regulatory reporting ((eg, Basel 3, 3.1, PRA101, Corep and Pillar 3)
  • Support data lineage mapping, reconciliation processes and traceability to source systems, aligning regulatory requirements with technical capabilities.Collaborate with Data Governance, BAU and IT teams to enforce best practices for data management and remediation of identified issues.
  • Partner with PMO and senior management to prioritise change initiatives within the regulatory roadmap and ensure strategic alignment with overall programme.Act as a key liaison between Regulatory Policy, Credit Risk BAU, Finance, Data and Technology teams to align interpretation & implementation of the changes with data and reporting capabilities.
  • Execute process and system changes to ensure data integrity, lineage and reconciliations between the processes.Execute robust governance and control frameworks across change delivery, including issue tracking, remediation plans, validation and post implementation reviews.

Requirements : 

  • 6+ years of experience in regulatory reporting, credit risk management or finance change within major banking institutions.
  • Good knowledge of Basel III/IV capital rules, PRA/ECB/HKMA reporting frameworks and CRR/CRD interpretation.
  • Good understanding of reporting processes and systems.
  • Experience in the delivery of change with excellent business analysis capabilities and a track record of successfully being involved in complex change projects with cross functional impacts and dependencies

What additional skills will be good to have?

  • Experience with UK PRA regulatory Reporting or COREP environment preferred.
  • Experience with Investment Banking products.
