We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Credit Specialist
In this role, you will:
- Take effective measures to maintain team culture in which creativity thrives and processes and productivity are continuously improved.
- Procedural changes / new initiatives are reviewed, fully communicated to and implemented by the teams under charge.
- Responsible for ensuring effective workflow management to meet timelines and quality levels, checking and maintaining effective resource utilization at all times.
- Develop comprehensive understanding of the relevant procedures and pro-actively escalate issues which might adversely impact the business.
- Observe the performance management methodology and maintain the agreed timelines.
- Identify and resolve queries on a day-to-day basis and identify problems and recommend improvements. Display the proven ability to handle escalations.
- Responsible for ensuring that the processes are regularly reviewed to identify improvements, which will enhance operational and financial effectiveness.
- Identify and formulate performance improvement plans to extend support to outliers with effective coaching and feedbacks
To be successful you will:
- Acquire knowledge on process, procedures and Credit policies and upgrade the knowledge on an ongoing basis.
- Maximum 3-7 Years of experience required in relevant industry.
- Should be a Graduate in any discipline.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision making, financial and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills to interact with United Kingdom customers
- Understanding of Originations end to end will be beneficial
- Be able to generate, understand and interpret Management Information reports for business partners and senior leadership team
