We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Credit Risk Generalist
- Liaise with sales team/frontline for effective resolution of discrepancies regarding verification, documentation, where applicable
- Meet and exceed Performance level Agreement and Key Performance Indicators targets (Quality and Operating Efficiency). Maintain strict adherence to schedule.
- Demonstrate high efficiency and ability to be flexible and willing to change along with changes in corporate and department objectives in addition to recommending changes to assist in meeting these objectives
- Understand and examine the Operational Risk scenario associated with the role and ensure that all actions align to mitigating the same.
- Conduct self and make informed decisions that protect HSBC values, reputation, and business.
- Ensures applications are assessed and verified consistently, objectively, with uniform application of policy, procedure, and guidelines
- Identify and escalate potential risks, operational and otherwise.
- Engage with colleagues and other internal stake holders to deliver the set objectives and exceed.
To be successful, you will:
- Provide excellent customer service to internal/external customer by maintaining good call quality in accordance to Call Monitoring/ Call Coaching standards. (where applicable)
- 0-2 years of experience in relavent Industry along with a Graduate in any discipline (Preferable in commerce)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communications, financial and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Flexibility to work in any shifts
- Understanding of Credit life cycle and awareness of the types and nature of credit products and processes.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
